Clark Cub Scouts Welcome New Scouting Year

Clark Cub Scouts Flag Ceremony

CLARK – On a chilly Friday night in October, as the crowd rolled in to the high school football stadium to watch Clark’s ALJ Crusaders vs. Cranford Cougars, nine boys stood nervously at the field goal post waiting for the announcer to welcome them to the stadium.

They were nine Cub Scouts from Clark Cub Scout Pack 145 who were there to present the flags before the game. The band played and the boys began to walk out. Two Webelos II Scouts holding the American Flag and the Cub Scout Flag, two scouts holding the Pack Banner and five boys walking in unison behind.

They completed their practiced formation and confidently and proudly presented the flags to the audience as the band played The Star Spangled Banner. The boys did a fantastic job and the Clark Crusaders won the game!
