EDISON—Students at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison celebrated Spirit Week with several themes such as “Identical Day,” “Beach Day” and “Blast from the Past.” Wednesday, October 21, was especially meaningful as Upper School students expressed their support for breast cancer awareness during “Pink Day.”

In the morning, members of the senior class participated in a walk for breast cancer in Woodbridge. When they returned to the school, they were greeted by their peers dressed in shades of pink from head to toe. A freshman, Kayla Bashe of Metuchen, also sang a song she wrote about the importance of breast cancer research.
