Oct. 6 at 11:38 a.m. – At the Southern State Correctional Facility, Det. Alex Yanes arrested Lakehurst resident Jason Corliss, 27, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.  He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Oct. 9 at 6:55 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle fire in the vicinity of Westfield and Terminal Avenues. The Clark Fire Department responded and extinguished it.

Oct. 10 at 5:05 p.m. – Officer Antonio Manata investigated a report of a burglary at 322 Parkway Drive.

Oct. 10 at 9:32 p.m. – In the vicinity of 6 Broadway, Officer George Marmarou arrested Rahway resident Frank Cuppari, 22, for possession of narcotics paraphernalia.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance.

Oct. 12 at 4:15 p.m. – Officer Antonio Manata investigated a report of a lost or stolen wallet from a patron of the Target Department Store at 45 Central Avenue.

Oct. 14 at 3:15 p.m. – At the Middlesex County Courthouse, Det. Walter Merfert arrested South Amboy resident Russell Flagg, 29, for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Oct. 14 at 6:52 p.m. – Officer Brian Soos investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 140 Central Avenue.

Oct. 15 at 7:33 a.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 15 Bradley Road.

Oct. 15 at 12:32 p.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of a burglary to an Ascot Way residence.

Oct. 16 at 3:04 p.m. – At the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue, Officer Keith Meehan arrested Millburn resident Giorgi Nazghaidze, 23, for shoplifting $72 worth of merchandise. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Oct. 16 at 9:47 p.m. – At Headquarters, Officer George Marmarou arrested Plainfield resident Joseph Orama, 27, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.  He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Oct. 17 at 10:41 p.m. – In the vicinity of Walnut Avenue and Suburban Road, Officer George Marmarou arrested Clark resident Michael Pizzi, 21, single, for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.  P.O. was the Arresting Officer.

Oct. 17 at 1:52 a.m. – In the vicinity of 330 Central Avenue, Officer George Marmarou arrested Elizabeth resident Eugene Andreola, 31, on an outstanding warrant from Cranford for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations.  He was subsequently released after posting bail.
