HIGHLAND PARK—Middlesex County completed a total reconstruction of its 90-acre Donaldson Park. The $6.1 million project was completed in three phases and included reconstruction of two Little League baseball fields, five softball fields, a baseball field and the tennis courts.
The county also built a new soccer field, a new boat ramp, dock and parking for boat ramp users and added a basketball court, comfort station and a fully accessible playground. Improvements also were made to the pond and the area surrounding it and a new walk-bikeway system separates vehicle traffic from pedestrians.
