MONROE—In response to rising needs, Jewish Family & Vocational Service of Middlesex County has expanded its kosher food pantry to include dairy products and eggs.
To meet the needs of the entire county, JFVS also expanded its food pantry services to its second location in Monroe Township. Both perishable and non-perishable food items are available at the Milltown and Monroe Township offices by appointment only.
Those requesting food must call in advance (1-732-777-1940 or 1-609-395-7979) to make an appointment so that packages can be tailored to individual needs.
The food pantry is currently in need of peanut butter, jelly, rice, instant potatoes, and pasta sauce. JFVS also accepts cash donations, which are used to buy items in short supply.
