ELIZABETH—St. Patrick High School Students are preparing their production of “High School Musical.” The show will be presented on Friday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m.
“High School Musical” finds the captain of the basketball team and a member of the academic club teaming up to audition for their upcoming school musical. The show is all about being yourself and following your dreams. When word gets out that this popular pair has secretly chosen to reach for the stars and try their luck on the stage, the students of the fictional East High are about to learn an important lesson in teamwork while gearing up for a musical performance that will have their audience dancing in the aisles.
The production is being directed by faculty member George Meier with Brother Daniel McCulloch providing musical direction. Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.
Following a St. Patrick High School tradition, the Sunday performance will host the 50th reunion of the Class of 1959. A buffet luncheon is also being offered after Sunday’s performance at the cost of $20 per person.
St. Patrick High School and Academy is located at 221 Court Street in Elizabeth. Further information as well as tickets may be secured by calling the school at 1-908-353-5220.
