STATE – Earlier this month, Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie’s campaign uploaded a new online music video featuring two young New Jerseyans strumming a guitar, lamenting the fierce impact of the economic crisis and calling incumbent Gov. Jon Corzine something of a catastrophe.

“I was shopping for a pad for my baby, a cool condo or up in a tree,” they sing. “Too bad I didn’t know my governor was whack, taxes are too high, my pay check is getting jacked.”

The video, which is a parody of a well-known credit report company television commercial campaign, made its debut just before the first televised gubernatorial debate. In less than two weeks, it has been viewed over 9,000 times on YouTube.
