A Question Of Integrity

My family settled in Middlesex County in the 1840s and, through many generations, continue to reside here. We are used to some of the political shenanigans that the Middlesex County Democrats occupy themselves with, but this time I feel that they have completely crossed the line on integrity.

Middlesex County Sheriff Joseph Spicuzzo was quoted in a blog saying that former Middlesex County Democratic Party Chairman John Lynch is  “a missed leader in Middlesex” adding that “He had his own style and it was successful.”

[smartads]

This is reprehensible. The chief law enforcement officer of the county commiserating over the absence of his political boss who is in prison after pleading guilty to mail fraud and tax evasion is apparently waiting for Lynch to be released on Nov. 10 so that he can triumphantly return to Middlesex County. Am I watching the Democrats or the Sopranos?

In the Sopranos a gangster would commit a crime, be caught and convicted, be sent to prison, be released and then return to his previous life of crime. Is this what Lynch plans to do? Was Lynch running the county Democrat organization from his cell?

The only way to stop this type of behavior is to elect Chris Christie as Governor. Christie’s record as the US Attorney is unparalleled in the state, if not the nation. Governor Christie can appoint a State Attorney General in his own mold.  Then, the citizens of New Jersey will have their own law enforcement apparatus at work, rather than having to rely on the United States Attorney do our work for us.
