ELIZABETH—St. Mary of the Assumption High School hosted a blood drive on Oct. 1. Over 35 students registered to give blood. Several faculty members and members of the community also participated in this semi-annual event.
Staff members from the Blood Center of New Jersey spent a busy morning interviewing and reassuring prospective blood donors, then ultimately collected 22 pints of blood.
