RAHWAY—On October 20, Rahway High School will take part in the National Day on Writing with 100% participation from teachers in all academic disciplines.
Under the leadership of English and creative writing teacher Kimberly Kiefer, Rahway’s participation in the National Day on Writing is part of the Kean University Writing Project.
Special writing projects are planned not only for English, but also for science, mathematics, consumer science, robotics, special education, foreign language and theater classes.
The National Day of Writing was established by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) to recognize how writing is an essential part of our everyday lives in the 21st Century.
