RAHWAY—The Rahway Department of Community Services will conduct a health fair on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Recreation Center next to City Hall on Milton Avenue.
Seasonal flu shots will be given to Rahway residents, age 65 years and older, or under age 65 with a long term health condition. Seniors are advised to bring their Medicare cards. Those under 65 will be charged $10.
The health fair will offer a blood screening consisting of Chem 23, Lipid profile and CBC. This is an extensive screening that includes red and white blood cell count, total cholesterol count and other counts to monitor bodily functions. This test will cost $18.
