EDISON—The Parents’ Association at the Wardlaw-Hartridge School will host its annual Fall Fair on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on campus at 1295 Inman Avenue in Edison.
The festivities include a Tricky Tray and 50/50, as well as a Holiday Boutique featuring vendors such as Artikay Cashmere, Longaberger, Rocking Horse Toys, Swain Galleries, and Zwikker & Zacher. Theme baskets will be raffled off and will include an iPod nano, “College-Bound” and “Halloween” motifs, as well as goodies from Lancome and Vera Bradley. There will also be an opportunity for shoppers to receive cash for their gold and have antiques appraised on the spot.
Take a tasty tour around the world at the Parents’ Association’s “World of Soups Café” in the school’s Oakwood Room where everything from Texas Chili, Spanish Gazpacho, Chinese Wonton, and more will be served up. The Wardlaw-Hartridge Booster Club will also hold its festive and popular barbecue, while baked goods will be sold at the bakery.
Individual classes and clubs will also sell treats like Fried Oreos and Buffalo Wings. The Frozen Gourmet will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase homemade frozen dinners for later enjoyment.
During Fall Fair, Laidlaw Gymnasium will be filled with games, crafts, and a Moonbounce, while athletic teams of all ages will compete at the tennis courts and on the field.
