CLARK—Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway will benefit from a community fundraiser sponsored by the Windsor Diner in Clark on Monday, Oct. 19 from 5-9 p.m.
The Windsor Diner, located at 1030 Raritan Road, will designate 10 percent of every check that evening for programs and services for the acute care community hospital.
This is the second year the diner is sponsoring this fundraiser. The idea came about after an employee’s loved one received life-saving care at the hospital. The employee suggested a fundraiser to diner owner John Kallas, whose family has owned the diner for more than 30 years.
The proceeds will be used to benefit the hospital’s Fund for Technology Advancements to upgrade its technology and equipment.
“The Windsor offers great food for a great cause,” said Joe Gibilisco, RWJ University Hospital Rahway Foundation Chairman, who urged everyone to come on out to the Windsor Diner on Oct. 19.
