NEW BRUNSWICK–Jodi F. Bouer, Esq., will address the first meeting of Restoring Hope in Autism Family Support Group at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Child care will be available during the meeting, which will be held in the hospital’s Sister Marie de Pazzi Conference Center, 254 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick.
Bouer will give parents practical tips on how to maximum health insurance coverage for their child under the New Jersey Autism Insurance Reform Bill, signed into law this summer, and the New Jersey Mental Health Parity Law.
The group will meet the second Sunday of each month, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The group will be led by Barbie Zimmerman-Bier, M.D., chief of Developmental Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s, and Genevieve Kumapley, Pharm.D., clinical pharmacist at Saint Peter’s and founder of the group.
