Woodbridge Children Send Hand

WOODBRIDGE—The children of the Woodbridge Child Care Center, a branch of the Metuchen Edison Woodbridge YMCA, proudly display their art work, an American flag made out of hand prints.  This flag was designed as a token of thanks to the soldiers of the 47th Combat Support Hospital, stationed on COB Speicher, in Tikrit, Iraq.  It will be sent to 1LT Amy Updike, a nurse in the CSH, who will be asked to share it with the doctors, nurses and soldiers at the hospital.  Updike is the daughter of Robin Goodrich, the director of the YMCA Child Care Center, located in Avenel.
