Rahway Parish Holds Rosary Novena

RAHWAY  – To commemorate October, the Month of the Rosary, Sts. Mary/Mark Parish will hold a Rosary Novena, beginning Friday, Oct. 2 and concluding Saturday, Oct. 10, according to Fr. Dennis Kaelin, pastor.

The weekend Novena schedule is as follows:

Friday, Oct. 2: noon – First Friday Mass; 12:30 p.m. – Rosary Novena; 1 –7 p.m. Eucharistic Adoration; 7 p.m. – Evening Mass.

Saturday, Oct. 3: 8 a.m. – First Saturday Mass; 8:30 a.m. – Rosary Novena; 9:30 a.m. – Mornings With Mary; 4:30 p.m. – Rosary Recitation; 5 p.m. – Sunday Vigil Mass.

Sunday, Oct. 4: Rosary Recitation (7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m.); Sunday Masses (8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m.); 3 p.m. – Feast of St. Francis of Assisi – Blessing of Animals on the front steps area of St. Mary’s Church.

Weekday schedule: Monday, Oct. 5, through Friday, Oct. 9: 6:30 p.m. – Rosary Novena; 7 p.m. – Evening Mass. The Novena will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 8:30 a.m. following the regularly scheduled 8 a.m. Morning Mass.

Everyone is invited to attend all or part of the October Rosary Celebration at St. Mary’s Church, Fr. Kaelin said.
