Police Conclude Narcotics Investigations With Arrests

LINDEN – Police made a series of narcotics-related arrests late last month to conclude three separate investigations.

On Sept. 30, members of the Linden Police Narcotics Unit and Community-Oriented Policing Unit arrested Anttwine McKenzie Foster, 18, and Derrick Lamont Nichols, 18, both of Linden, on the 700 block of Bergen Avenue. The two men were charged with drug possession, possession with the intent to distribute, and other related offenses. Foster was also charged with possession of drug parapernalia.


Police arrested three Linden residents on Sept. 29 at a residence on the 1000 block of Wheatsheaf Road. George Alouisious Bease, 21, Torian Freeman, 25, and Christopher David Wade, 22, were charged with possession and distribution of marijuana and related offenses.

On Sept. 23, members of the Linden Police Narcotics Unit stopped a vehicle on the 600 block of Dennis Place and arrested two Elizabeth residents. Edgar Quintero, 19, and Yilbert Leal, 21, were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and other related offenses.
