Clark Man Dies Of Motorcycle Accident Injuries

CLARK—A Clark man who was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday died Monday evening, authorities said.

John Smith, 64, suffered fatal injuries when his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle flipped over on Main Street in Woodbridge, near the New Jersey Turnpike. A witness told investigators that Smith was traveling east at about 2:20 p.m. when his bike skidded, flipped twice and slid to a stop in the westbound lane. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, officials said.

Smith was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he was treated. Doctors pronounced him dead about 6 p.m. Monday.
