The Star Ledger, along with the liberal left, equates criticism of President Obama’s policies with racism because he is a black man. The old timers at the Star Ledger need to be reminded that this is New Jersey in 2009, not Birmingham in 1959. The world has changed.
Criticism of Obama is based, not upon black and white issues, but green issues- green as in the color of money. Many view Obama as a threat to bankrupt the United States with his government knows best approach to issues, especially health care. This is legitimate dissent that is the hallmark of democracy.
It is no secret that the “dinosaur” media supported Obama to the nth degree. Now his supporters are disappointed that he does not walk on water – he will get wet like the rest of us. To stop the criticism, Obama needs to make sense of what he is doing and stop the obfuscation. If he doesn’t, New Jersey residents, in 2012, will be chanting OTB (one term Barack).
