Bank Opens Matawan Branch

MATAWAN – The Provident Bank will open a new branch at 445 Route 34 at Disbrow Road in Matawan on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 9 a.m. and the grand opening festivities will continue through 2 p.m.  The new office will be Provident’s 84th in its 12-county branch network.


The celebration will also feature free activities for children, including a balloon clown and moon bounce, as well as music provided by MAGIC 98.3 and WRAT 95.9. Free refreshments will be provided. In addition, visitors can try their luck at Provident’s Instant Cash Rewards Game with a top prize of $500.

There is also a special sweepstakes for a chance to win a home theater system, which includes a 46” LCD HDTV, PlayStation 3, Ultimate Rock Bank 2, Gene Simmons wireless axe and more – entries will be accepted at the Matawan branch through October 31.
