Students Gain Appreciation For Music

RAHWAY—On Thursday, Sept. 17, students at Grover Cleveland school in Rahway were treated to an assembly presented by The Music Shop. The store owner, Nick Marino, as well as Branislav Svitek, a teacher there, demonstrated flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola and cello.

The students were able to listen to a variety of songs; from Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” to the Monkee’s “I’m a Believer,” which was featured in “Shrek.”
