CRANFORD—The Mountain Plains Mothers of Multiples will hold its Fall Swap n’ Sell on Saturday, Sept. 26. This bi-annual sale provides an opportunity to purchase gently used children’s clothing and shoes, toys, games, and other items at reasonable prices.
This year, the sale has been expanded featuring more infant, toddlers and children’s items such as bouncy chairs, saucers, strollers and other accessories through donations of club members.
The public can enjoy shopping from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 50 Burnside Avenue, just west of Lincoln Avenue in Cranford. In case of rain, the event will be postponed until Oct. 3. This is not just for multiples items; there will be many single children’s items available also. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and find some great bargains.
Mountain Plains Mothers of Multiples is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization serving the residents of Union County, founded in 1959 by mothers of twins, triplets and other sets of multiples. It offers support in the form of educational and entertaining programs and offers a chance for women to share experiences, offer ideas and solutions, learn about parenting multiples, and make long-lasting friendships.
