Edison Recreation Announces Kids Fun Club Classes

EDISON – The Edison Recreation Department has announced the fall 2009 classes for Kids Fun Clubs.

“Kids Fun Clubs” will be held after school on Mondays and Wednesdays and on Saturday mornings during the fall in Edison’s two community centers.  These classes are for Edison resident children in kindergarten through fifth grades only.  Clubs begin Oct. 5.

Registration will be held from Sept. 17 through Sept. 25, between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Avenue or the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Avenue.

Participants must register at the location where they wish to attend classes. Proof of residency and a non-refundable $10 fee are required at registration.

A variety of classes, including crafts, exercise, yoga, chess and cooking, will be offered.
