EDISON—The Edison Township mayoral and council candidates will be introduced to the business community at the Sept. 22 business mixer sponsored by the Edison Chamber of Commerce. The two-hour networking forum, hosted by the Citibank, Menlo Park Mall branch, starts at 5:30 p.m.
The business community is invited to attend. There will be no speeches, just introductions at about 6:30 p.m.
Chamber President Barbara C. Roos announced the following mayoral candidates have confirmed their participation (as of Sept. 11): Peter Cerrato, Joseph Coyle, Dennis Pipala, Antonia Ricigliano and Indev Soni. Council candidates who have confirmed their attendance are Lori Bonderowitz, Robert Diehl, Thomas Hanke, Mary Lou Resner, Jay Schlesinger, Charles Tomaro and Norman Van Houten. All candidates will wear VIP name badges to spot easily in the crowd.
Roos said this is an unprecedented chamber event that will provide the opportunity for more business people to become familiar with Edison Township candidates and issues.
The multi-business mixer is held in conjunction with the East Brunswick, Metuchen, Piscataway/Middlesex/South Plainfield chambers. The Edison members are encouraged to use their ‘Passport to Success’ pass for free admission. Admission: $15 members of participating chambers. All others are welcome: $25.
