NJSCPA Launches CPA Observation Post

ROSELAND – New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) has launched a new feature, the CPA Observation Post, to provide important news to its members, media and the public.

The Observation Post provides a concise summary of accounting and financial news that affects businesses and individuals. Using a blog format, it allows readers to view the entire news stream or to focus on news categories of interest. The subjects range from CPA careers and the current financial crisis to regulatory activities and taxation.

“Our goal is to be brief and timely, and to focus on the news that matters most to our audiences,” says Don Meyer, Director of Communications & Marketing at the NJSCPA. “We plan to feature the latest news from the NJSCPA and New Jersey accounting firms and provide links to primary resources or trustworthy news sources such as the Journal of Accountancy, NJBiz and the New York Times.”

The Observation Post offers numerous social media features including RSS and Twitter feeds. It permits readers to comment on stories and provides readers with email links back to the editors of each post if they want more information.
