Downfront Jazz Series Presents Don Braden

RAHWAY—The DownFront Jazz Series, a partnership between Arts Guild New Jersey and the Union County Performing Arts Center, continues on Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. with composer and saxophone player Don Braden.

Braden has toured the world leading his own ensembles, as a special guest, and as a sideman with greats such as Betty Carter, Winton Marsalis, Freddie Hubbard, Tony Williams, Roy Haynes, and many others.  He has composed music for everything from duo to full symphonic orchestra, in many styles, for recordings, film and television, and worked several years as composer for Bill Cosby.


The UCPAC is located at 1601 Irving Street in downtown Rahway. Ticket buyers for DownFront Jazz will be seated in the 200-seat center orchestra section directly in front of the stage.  Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
