MONTVALE – As the economy continues to strain budgets, consumers are more concerned than ever before with saving money and finding ways to get the best deals possible.
The A&P supermarket chain has teamed up with Zavers, a digital promotions company, to give consumers an easier way to save money without having to clip or remember paper coupons every time they head to the store.
Consumers are just a few clicks away from savings. All they need to do is…
- Go to A&P’s web site www.apfreshonline.com to create a free online savings account and register their existing loyalty card.
- Select coupons from a variety of premium products featured on the coupon tab.
- Purchase the products and swipe their loyalty card at the register.
- From there, the savings are automatically deducted from their bill and printed on their receipt.
“A&P’s adoption of digital coupons will allow customers to put down the scissors and stop the cumbersome process of clipping, filing and remembering paper coupons,” said Thad Langford, president and CEO of Zavers. “Instead, it will be much easier for consumers to save money on the products they want by simply saving their preferred coupons online and swiping their loyalty card at the register.”
For a limited time, beginning Friday, Sept. 11, Red Tag Online Savings will offer free reusable Elizabeth Haub Foundation shopping bags to shoppers who register for the Red Tag Online Savings program. All shoppers have to do is register their club card on their preferred grocery store’s web site, click on the free reusable bag coupon, and save it to their club card.
