HILLSIDE—On Sep. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m., all Wendy’s restaurants in the Tri-state area will donate 10 percent of sales to local food banks serving their corresponding counties.
Wendy’s first Action For Hunger will take place in many of the counties served by the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
There are 78 Wendy’s restaurants that will participate in this amazing community effort.
Wendy’s executive Lou Meyer noted, “Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas was a staunch believer in giving back to your community. He would certainly be pleased with our effort to help fight hunger in our local communities.”
Hunger Action Month is a nationwide call-to-action, an effort to mobilize people everywhere to get involved with ending hunger in America. The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, in conjunction with Feeding America, is asking everyone to help feed the hungry in their communities.
