EDISON—The Edison Senior Citizen Center, 2963 Woodbridge Avenue, will host a free educational seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m. designed to help homeowners tackle the daunting task of reducing clutter in their homes.
Eva Abreu, a professional organizing coach, will be on hand to highlight the who, what and why of household clutter.
“Individuals who hoard and clutter suffer dangers that are real and in some situations can lead to fire hazards and health issues. Clutter can make it nearly impossible to organize and find anything that is important. So whether you are tackling the storage shed, your dining room table or a junk drawer, deciding what to toss and what to keep can be an overwhelming task,” explained Mayor Jun H. Choi.
“With fall cleaning season close upon us, this is the right time to join Ms. Abreu as she provides step by step guidance in conquering the overwhelming need to save and how to eliminate and safely store items within our home.”
Pre-registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. Call the Edison Senior Center at 1-732-248-7345 for reservation information.
