Learn Well, Live Well and Eat Well

SCOTCH PLAINS – If you are a woman who struggles with weight, two free programs at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center will be of interest.

One program focuses on Women and Metabolism, exploring what makes a woman’s metabolism different and what happens as she gets older. That program will be held on two dates, Sept. 15 at noon and Sept. 23 at 6 p.m.

The other program is called, Mindful Eating and examines the when and how we eat, focusing on slowing down, savoring and enjoying the flavors of fresh, healthy food.  That program, which includes a cooking demonstration, will be held Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. and is led by chef and dietitian Diane Weeks.

Both programs are free and open to the public.
