ELIZABETH—Al Harrington, the 6’9” forward of the New York Knicks who hails from Roselle, recently visited residents of the Trinitas Regional Medical Center’s New Point Residential Treatment Center. His visit underscored his concern for the welfare of children. As Harrington spoke with the young people at the center, like Vianca, shown with him here, he encouraged them to realize their potential, noting, “There’s nothing you can’t do. You are here working hard and I congratulate you. Keep fighting. Find something you want to do in life and fight for it, but have a backup plan. Not everyone can be a basketball player!”
