CLARK—The Township of Clark will be offering seasonal influenza shots on Friday, Oct. 2, between 10 a.m. – noon at the Clark Recreation Center Cafeteria, located at 430 Westfield Avenue.
In order to receive a flu shot you must be a Clark resident age 62 or older or a Clark resident with a chronic medical condition (a doctor’s note is required).
There is no charge for Clark residents who have Medicare part B as their primary insurance. The township does not participate with any other insurance plans (ex. Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Oxford etc.)
If you do not have Medicare part B as your primary insurance, a fee of $35 will be charged the day of the shot. Make checks payable to the Township of Clark. No cash will be accepted.
Residents can be begin reserving their flu shots beginning Sept. 18 by calling Health Officer Nancy Raymond at 1-732-428-8405.
