UNION – The Salem Roadhouse Café is one year old. To celebrate, the café has announced a fall lineup including the finest in musical and artistic presentations.
On Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m., the café will feature Slight Imperfection, a duo with Celtic harp, guitar and vocals performing original and cover tunes, all presented in a unique style with Celtic/American rock, folk and pop genres.
On Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m., the café will feature a gentleman who helped get it started one year ago; Mike Zuko and His Friends. Last year they brought the house down with Mike’s original music. This year Mike will celebrate his birthday, with the show being dubbed “Mike’s Birthday Bash”. Mike is inviting other talented musicians he knows to play along with him. Rumor has it that Melinda Davis will grace the stage once again.
Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m., the café will present a local group with an interesting, fun and original sound, the Booglerizers.
As always, a portion of the door proceeds goes to a local, deserving charity. The Roadhouse has donated to the E’Port Presbyterian Center, the Brand New Day Housing Project, the Community Foodbank of NJ, and the Center For Hope Hospice.
Admission ($15/person, $10 with valid student ID) includes cool beverages, three blends of gourmet coffees, teas, and those famous Roadhouse homemade desserts, along with snacks. There is no limit to refills!
