Church Offers Hope And Job Readiness For The Unemployed

PERTH AMBOY—Cathedral International is hosting a special community-wide Labor Day event on Monday, Sept. 7, at 9 a.m. The event will feature job training and placement, disability assistance information, and free food giveaways for struggling families. Everyone is invited. Admission and all services are free.

Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr., senior pastor, says, “I believe our churches could do more to help meet the needs (of the community) in hard times… Responsible Christianity sees the need and moves in Jesus’ name to meet it.”
