LINDEN – A 75-year-old Wickersham Avenue homeowner was the victim of vandalism last week, police said.

Just after midnight on Aug. 13, the homeowner called police because she heard a loud noise and saw an orange paint splatter on her front picture window. When officers arrived to investigate, they found four parked vehicles that were also struck by orange paint balls. Another home on the 2700 block of Wickersham Avenue had orange paint marks on the aluminum siding.
Police could not locate any witnesses. Authorities ask anyone with information to call Detective Andrew Spano of the Criminal Investigations Unit at 908-474-8500 or email crimetips@police.lindenes-nj.org.
