ELIZABETH—The Union County Homicide Task Force is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an Aberdeen man wanted in connection with a July 31 killing, Union County Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow said.
Authorities are unable to locate Shaviaea Williams, 31, who has been identified as the primary suspect in connection with the death of Mark McDaniels, police said.
Officers were called to 89 Bayway Avenue in Elizabeth around 4:15 a.m. on Friday, July 31, where they discovered McDaniels, 40, unresponsive in a parking lot. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, said Romankow.
Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for the arrest and indictment of Williams. Anyone with information may call the Crimestoppers Tipline at (908) 654-TIPS (8477) or Det.
