Newark Man Arrested For Cranford Carjacking

CRANFORD – Cranford police arrested a Newark man last week who allegedly stole a woman’s vehicle at a Dairy Queen in July.

Police said that a month-long investigation pointed to Quenton Morales, 18, of Newark. He was arrested on Aug. 4 at a Fairfield motel, police said.
Morales allegedly pushed a Rahway woman from her car at the Dairy Queen on North Avenue East on July 7. The vehicle, a Nissan, was recovered in Newark later that day.

The investigation was lead by Detective Ryan Greco of the Cranford Police Department. Fairfield police assisted in the arrest.
