MIDDLESEX COUNTY—The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders’ free summer concert series continues next week with performances in four county parks.

“We are pleased to present our Music in the Parks series to our residents,” said Freeholder Director Stephen J. “Pete” Dalina. “It’s a great way to spend the warm summer nights outdoors.”

Sunday, Aug. 16
The Great American Rootin’ Tootin’, High Falutin’, Puttin’ on the Ritz Novelty Band will perform at the Warren Park Mini Theater, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Mark Heter and His Band present “Remembering Paul Lavalle and the Band of America” at Spring Lake Park Gazebo, Maple Avenue, South Plainfield from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 19
The Perry Brothers Irish Band will perform at Irish Night at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, South Amboy/Sayreville Beachfront, O’Leary Boulevard, South Amboy from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Joe Monchek Quartet will perform at Thompson Park Gazebo, Forsgate Drive, Jamesburg from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
