WOODBRIDGE – Bodyscapes 2009, a collective exhibition of life drawings produced by the members of the Barron Life Drawing Group who meet weekly to study the human figure, will be on display at the Barron Arts Center.
The exhibit opens on Friday, Aug. 14 and runs until Aug. 28. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2-4 p.m. The public is also invited to attend the opening reception on Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
The exhibition is an outgrowth of a project, coordinated by artists Ray Skibinski and Joan Katen, to make available life models to area artists so that they might have the opportunity to improve their artistic skills.
The Barron Arts Center is located at 582 Rahway Avenue in Woodbridge. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Donations are always gratefully accepted. For more information or directions, call 732-634-0413.
