SPRINGFIELD – Investors Savings Bank has appointed Laura Kaplan-Grimshaw to the position of assistant vice president and branch sales manager. Kaplan-Grimshaw, who has a broad background in banking, financial services and insurance, will manage Investors’ branch at 173 Mountain Avenue in Springfield.
“We are very fortunate to have a person with Laura’s expertise and commitment to the community managing one of Investors’ branches,” said Paul Kalamaras, Investors Savings Bank’s senior vice president and director of retail banking. “Also, Ms. Kaplan-Grimshaw will work closely with our customers to advise them on how to manage their banking services to meet important short- and long-term financial goals.”
Prior to joining Investors, Kaplan-Grimshaw was the market leader at Unity Bank. She also managed the bank’s office on Stuyvesant Avenue in Union. She held executive level positions while working at Fleet Bank and Hudson United Bank. Overall, she has 15 years of experience in banking, financial services and insurance.
During her career, she has been a member of Gateway Chamber of Commerce as well as the Union and Woodbridge chambers. She is currently a member of the Fanwood/Scotch Plains Rotary.
She earned a business degree at the Cittone Institute and lives with her family in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township.
