Lum Named To Dean’s List

LEXINGTON, Va.—Gregory S. Lum of Linden, a rising sophomore at the Virginia Military Institute, was recently named to the Deans’ List for the second semester of academic year 2008-2009.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a cadet must have a term grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and no grade below C.

Lum is majoring in modern languages and cultures. His parents are Mr. & Mrs. Samuel C. Lum IV.

VMI, which has an enrollment of more than 1,300 cadets, is the nation’s oldest state-supported military college.
