WOODBRIDGE – The Shannon Rose Irish Pub recently opened its doors at St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge. The new establishment represents the second location for the authentic Irish restaurant/pub; the original eatery is located in Clifton.
“This restaurant truly has an appeal that reaches people of all ages,” noted Matthew K. Harding, president and chief operating officer of Levin Management Corporation. “The Shannon Rose is a great addition to St. Georges Crossing and to the community of Woodbridge. It not only has introduced a unique new dining and pub experience but has created approximately 200 permanent local jobs.”
The Shannon Rose brings to the vibrant Central New Jersey marketplace an extensive, moderately priced menu ranging from such traditional Irish fare as fish ‘n chips, Gaelic chicken and a wide variety of beef dishes, to such eclectic crossovers as Irish corned beef spring rolls. Nightly events – including drink specials, entertainment and music – round out The Shannon Rose experience.
The new establishment occupies a portion of St. Georges Crossing that formerly housed a movie theater.
