RAHWAY—The Robert Wood Johnson Rahway Foundation is currently planning its 18th annual fashion show, scheduled for Oct. 24 at the Bridgewater Marriott.
Proceeds from the Fashion Show will benefit RWJ Rahway’s major initiative to upgrade its technology, purchase new equipment and improve its hospital facilities through The Fund for Technology Advancements, according to Peggy Ann Nicora, fashion show committee chairman.
“The Fashion Show Committee has raised almost $500,000 for the hospital over the last 17 years,” said Marlene H. Lubinger, foundation president, adding that the foundation is extremely proud of its accomplishments.
Guests will have the opportunity to win an assortment of outstanding gifts at the boutique auction, featuring more than 100 beautiful gift baskets and items all donated by local merchants, committee members, volunteers and hospital staff. A luncheon and musical fashion show staged by Journey Productions will follow. The cost is $60 per person.
In addition to a 50/50 raffle, the afternoon will conclude with the drawing for the super raffle. The lucky first prize winner will receive a 14 kt. white gold link necklace, donated by Kennedy Jewelers, Rahway. Second prize is a Faberge Imperial Egg Demitasse Set, and third prize is overnight accommodations for two with dinner and breakfast at The Bridgewater Marriott, donated by the Bridgewater Marriott.
