Free Concerts Continue In August

LINDEN—Linden’s series of free Concerts and Movies in the Park will continue at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, 400 North Wood Avenue, in August and September.

The upcoming concerts are:

Aug. 4 at 7:30 p.m.—Joe Bonanno & The Godsons of Soul (along with National Night Out Against Crime) Rain site: Linden High School – 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. – The Robert Murdock Band- An Evening with the Beatles.  Rain site: Linden High School- 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. – Marrakesh- Crosby, Stills and Nash Tribute Show. Rain site: Linden High School -  121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Aug. 25 at 7:15 p.m.—Emil Stucchio & The Classics – Doo Wop Extravaganza. Rain site: Linden High School, 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Sept. 1 at 7:15 p.m.—The Doo Wop Extravaganza continues with Larry Chance and the Earls. Rain site: Linden High School, 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Sept. 8 at 7:15 p.m. – More Doo Wop with Jersey Sound. Rain site: Linden High School, 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.—The KOOTZ-Old Fashioned Rock and Roll. Rain site: Linden High School, 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. – Dara and Frank (along with Fire Prevention Night.) Rain site: Linden High School, 121 W. St. Georges Ave.

The Free Movies in the Park series continues:

Aug. 6 – Kung Fu Panda – (Family Entertainment)
Aug. 20  – The Parent Trap (Family Entertainment)
Aug. 27  – Wall – E- (Family Entertainment)
Sept. 3 – Doo Wop Extravaganza Movie—Viva Las Vegas
Sept. 17 – Sci Fi Night –Forbidden Planet
Oct. 1 – Star Trek

All movies start at sunset and will be cancelled in the event of rain. Rest rooms are available.
