County’s Free Outdoor Concert Series Continues

MIDDLESEX COUNTY—The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders’ free summer concert series continues this week with performances in four county parks.

“We are pleased to present our Music in the Parks series to our residents,” said Freeholder Director Stephen J. “Pete” Dalina. “It’s a great way to spend the warm summer nights outdoors.”

The schedule includes:

• Mark Heter and His Band present “Remembering Paul Lavalle & The Band of America” on Sunday, July 19 at Warren Park Mini Theater, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

• The Joe Monchek Quartet plays polkas and standards on Sunday, July 19 at Spring Lake Park Gazebo, Maple Avenue, South Plainfield from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• Zydeco-A-Go-Go plays Classic New Orleans Rhythm & Blues and 40s Jump-Blues Jazz and Swing on Wednesday, July 22 at Thompson Park Gazebo, Forsgate Drive, Jamesburg from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, O’Leary Boulevard, South Amboy from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
