READINGTON—Meaghan Martin, star of the ABC Family television show “10 Things I Hate About You,” will perform live in concert and then meet fans following her performance on Saturday, July 25 at the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning at Solberg Airport in Readington.
Martin follows her “Camp Rock” co-stars the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato as the latest Disney teen sensation to perform at the festival, the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America.
“Two years ago thousands of screaming tweenagers came out to see the Jonas Brothers, who as every girl in America knows, are now the hottest musical act in the world,” said festival executive producer Howard Freeman. “Last year they lined up all the way to the balloon launch field to meet Demi Lovato. This is not only a great opportunity to see and to meet Meaghan Martin as she rises to superstardom, it’s probably the most affordable chance you’ll have to see her perform.”
Martin will perform at 3 p.m. as part of the festival’s “2-for-1 Kids Concert Spectacular” with boy band One Call meeting fans at 1 p.m. and performing at 2:15 p.m.
Reserved tickets, which include reserved concert seats for both concerts, festival admission, and priority for the meet-and-greets are $25 for children and $35 for adults. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-HOT-AIR9 or online at www.balloonfestival.com. Advance tickets are recommended as the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato concerts were complete sell outs.
