June 23 at 12:33 p.m. – Detective David Satkowski investigated a report of a theft of a GPS from a motor vehicle, which was parked at 45 Central Avenue.

June 24 at 6:26 a.m. – Detective David Satkowski investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked in the vicinity of 224 Goodman’s Crossing.

June 24 at 9:44 a.m. – At Headquarters, Lt. Mark Adamonis arrested Tom’s River resident James F. Mason, 33, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  Bail was set at $6,000, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

June 25 at 10:56 p.m. – Police in Newark recovered a motor vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Clark on June 25.  The incident is under investigation.

June 25 at 11:32 p.m. – Officer Andy Wagner investigated a report criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked in the vicinity of 1196 Cellar Avenue.

June 28 at 12:54 a.m. – In the vicinity of Hillcrest Drive and Charlotte Drive, Officer Joseph Teston arrested Garwood resident Nicholas Wilson, 19, for DWI.  He was also issued a summons for careless driving. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

June 28 at 8:01 p.m. – In the vicinity of 76 Central Avenue, Detective Alex Yanes arrested Helmetta resident Robert Farr, Jr., 19, for possession of CDS and narcotics paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

June 29 at 6:06 a.m. – Detective Alex Yanes investigated a reported burglary at 237 Westfield Avenue.

June 29 at 6:12 a.m. – Officer Glenn Griffin investigated a report of a theft of motor vehicle parts from a Schmidt Lane residence.

June 29 at 10:23 a.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Ken Sarnecki arrested Rahway resident Mynerva Jean, 37, for driving while suspended.  She was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

June 29 at 11:06 a.m. – Officer Thomas Sarnecki investigated a report of a theft of items from an Acorn Drive residence.

June 29 at 8:04 p.m. – Officer Terrance Harrison investigated a report of a theft of a bicycle from 154 Westfield Avenue.

June 30 at 3:09 p.m. – Officer Antonio Manata investigated a report of a burglary to a John Street residence.

July 2 at 7:18 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officer Terrance Harrison arrested Edison resident Beth Patasso, 44, for shoplifting merchandise valued at $174.82 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket.  She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

July 3 at 1:30 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Elizabeth resident Donald Lungo, 33, for shoplifting merchandise valued at $451.25 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

July 4 at 3:19 a.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Dan Pitts arrested three individuals for burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Schmidt Lane residence. Arrested were Linden resident Alexander Santana, 18; New York City resident Maverick Richards, 19; and Linden resident Juan Romero, 18.  All three individuals were subsequently released pending a court date.

July 5 at 4:20 p.m. – Officer Brian Renda investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Hutchinson Street residence.
