Temple Announces July Events

EDISON – Temple Emanu-El, located at 100 James Street in Edison, announced three events in July.

Shabbat Alive! is planned for July 10 at 7 p.m. The Friday service promises a joyful evening of music and song to welcome Shabbat.  A trio of talented musicians and your voices keep the sound alive. In addition, new Cantor Jacquie Shuchat-Marx will be present to add to the beauty of the music and the service.

Tot Shabbat is planned for July 17.  Bring your little ones to a fun service, where they will march and play with peers and friends. Children up to six years of age (and younger and older) will enjoy the festive activities, including arts and crafts. Service begins at 6 p.m., craft at 6:30 p.m.

Shabbat Under the Stars is scheduled for 7 p.m. on July 24. Take part in an outdoor greeting to the Sabbath with music and song.  Prospective members are welcome, along with family and friends, at this special service.  It will be followed by an ice cream social.
