RAHWAY—Rahway High School senior Patric Wishbow has been awarded the Vagelos Scholarship for 2009. Wishbow, who plans to pursue a career in engineering, will be attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Rensselaer is ranked as among the top engineering schools by US News and World Report. The Vagelos Scholar program, established in 2000 by retired Merck & Company CEO and Rahway High School alumnus Dr. P. Roy Vagelos, awards high-achieving students who graduate from Rahway High School and go on to attend one of the Top 25 Colleges and Universities as ranked by US News and World Report.
