RAHWAY – The RWJ Rahway Foundation has announced the date for the annual golf classic, which raises money to improve hospital facilities.

“Our Golf Committee is thrilled to be returning to Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield for its 26th Annual Classic on Sept. 21st,” said Kevin Headd, golf classic co-chair.

QualCare, Inc. will be the title sponsor of the event and Annette Catino, president and CEO of QualCare, will serve as this year’s honorary golf chairman.

RWJ Rahway is investing millions in upgrading its technology, purchasing new equipment and improving its hospital facilities to continue to provide the safe, high quality healthcare.  To assist in funding this major initiative, proceeds from the Golf Classic will benefit these improvements through the Fund for Technology Advancements.

The Golf Classic offers golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy a day on the golf course, which includes full golf registration, greens fee, driving range and putting green, lunch, refreshments throughout the day, electric golf carts, and a cocktail reception hour and dinner.  The cost is $550 per person.

Golfers will compete in two special skill contests sponsored by Chen, Wang & Guarino, M.D., P.A. and Station Cab, and will have the opportunity to win a hole-in-one prize of His & Her Rolex Watches, sponsored by Martin Jewelers, Cranford.
